Simple Ideas For Low Calorie Smoothies!
After writing a review and creating a video about my experience with Purity's Organic Juice Cleanse, which wasn't positive, I was asked for a recommendation by a viewer for something better. Fortunately, I do have a recommendation for simple, healthy shakes. These are easy to make, help with weight loss, can be mixed with all kinds of fruits, and offer a better “cleanse” experience than the Purity Product Cleanse.

Before we go any further, no, I am not a doctor or nutrition expert, so eat, drink and be merry at your own risk. I got this basic shake recipe while searching for something to help with my occasional gout flare ups. I'm not sure how much it helps with gout, but it is a healthy diet shake that I use as a meal replacement. I did find medicine for gout that's kept me gout-free for several months!

These healthy smoothie ingredients can be picked up from your local Spouts or any food store selling bulk grains for way less than those pre-made canned mixes or those multi-level marketing diet programs.
Healthy Smoothie Ingredients:
  • Flax Seed
  • Hulled Millet
  • Whole Psyllium Husk
  • Rolled Oats
  • Milk or Kefir
  • Fruit – Your Choice

I use a rounded Table spoon of each of the dry ingredients for each low calorie smoothie.

Want a cheap and easy breakfast? Then you'll love this healthy morning smoothie because you can make it quickly. Both my wife and I have one for breakfast 4-5 times per week. It's a great way to get fruit into your diet if you don't normally eat much fruit.

I use milk, but my wife really likes the liquid yogurt stuff called Kefir. It adds a flavorful twang. Bananas and berries are usually thrown in there, but add whatever suits you.

Order Your Own MAGIC BULLET To Make Healthy Shakes to Lose Weight
Step 1: Grind the Hulled Millet into powder. I guess the body breaks it down better as a powder.

Step 2: Add the Flax Seed, Psyllium Husk, and Oats together with the Millet

Step 3: Add all of this to a cup or so of milk or Kefir

Step 4: Add your choice of fruit and any other seasonings like cinnamon, vanilla, whatever.

Step 5: Mix it all up for 15 seconds or until it looks thoroughly blended and enjoy!

One thing to keep in mind about Psyllium Husk: It's an effective colon cleanser, but it also thickens the whole shake up the longer it sits. Depending on how much milk you add, and how slow you drink, you might need a spoon to finish your shake. Adjust accordingly.
